Boutique hotel with about 90 suites. Located in Puerto Morelos, not Cancun. The beach was horrible. One of the main reasons I go to Mexico is to enjoy the beach. The water was brown and smelled. Nobody was swimming in it. I drove 20 minutes north to the Hotel Zone to a public beach and it was amazing. On a positive note, the hotel staff are excellent, very friendly and accommodating.

The restaurants were very good - no buffet, all menu a la cart. I would rate the hotel, room and staff as excellent, the restaurants and quality of food as very good - portions very small, and beach poor. I would say 3.
